Guide Lamp M3A1 .45acp Grease Gun w/ Integral Suppressor Pre-May Dealer Sample Only Sub Machine Gun

This Chester County Armory listing is for a Pre May 1986 Dealer Sample Only Guide Lamp M3A1 .45acp sub machine gun with a Sporting Arms Co. integral suppressor included with the firearm. 

This Pre-May Dealer Sample Only sub machine gun is in excellent overall condition. Mechanically, it is in excellent condition, with no functional concerns, whatsoever. The internals show very little use, and no functional wear of note. The original barrel appears to have seen very few rounds, as the bore is bright and shiny with crisp, well-defined rifling in the lands and grooves. The metalwork is all in amazing condition, with no dents, dings, gouges, cracks, etc. to be noted. 

Cosmetically, this M3A1 is also in excellent condition, as well. The gray/green parkerized finish is roughly 98% intact, with only a small area on the top of the hinge noting any wear, whatsoever. Outside of this, and a small scratch slightly larger than a double pin head on the left side of the receiver (see photos), the parkerized finish of the receiver and stock is absolutely pristine. The exterior of the barrel, itself, does note some minor exterior handling and storage marks in the parkerization, specifically on the length of the right side of the barrel.

The included removable integral suppressor is also in overall good condition. This suppressor was made by Sporting Arms Co. of Monticello, MN. It is their model AR-45.  It does appear that this suppressor has seen more rounds fired through it than the weapon has. The suppressor internals note some carbon deposits and discoloration, but nothing to the degree that would affect functionality or sound reduction.  The integral barrel rifling is still defined, but not as well as the original barrel. The bore is darker in appearance, but does not note any rust or corrosion. The parkerized gray finish of the suppressor notes light scratches and physical handling marks in its finish, however nothing is more than finish deep, with no dents, dings, gouges, cracks, or malformations in the tube. 

This suppressor model is user serviceable, and will come with it's original tool to remove the front endcap. The weapon itself will also come with an original olive drab military sling and three total 30rd box magazines. 

This Pre-May 1986 Dealer Sample Only sub machine gun is available for purchase by Class 3 FFL/SOT holders, only. It is a "keeper" gun, that may be retained by a licensee upon surrender of their FFL license. It is currently on a Form 3.
