This transferable machine gun combines the historic appeal of a genuine Colt M16A1 with the compact handling characteristics of the carbine configuration. Marked with the classic M16A1 features that collectors have come to expect from Colt, this is a fantastic opportunity to own a genuine transferable Colt machine gun with both significant historical interest and enduring collector appeal.

For the serious NFA collector, transferable Colt M16s remain among the most sought-after machine guns available to the civilian market. The M16A1 platform offers tremendous versatility, an iconic military pedigree, and an enormous aftermarket for parts and accessories, while genuine Colt examples continue to stand apart from later conversions and commercially assembled guns. A factory Colt carbine in transferable configuration is an especially attractive addition to a high-end collection, offering the combination of Colt provenance, M16A1 authenticity, and the compact carbine format that makes these guns so desirable. A true piece of American firearms history and an outstanding addition to any serious transferable machine gun collection.
