The Walther MPK represents one of the most distinctive German submachine guns of the Cold War era. Manufactured by Carl Walther, the MPK was the short-barreled version of the Walther MP series and was produced alongside the longer MPL. The MP series was manufactured from 1963 through 1985.

The MPK features the classic Walther design with a compact 6.8-inch barrel, folding metal stock, 32-round magazine capacity, and a blowback-operated 9mm action.
