The Group Industries Vector Mini Uzi is a highly desirable transferable machine gun, known for its compact size, reliability, and smooth operation. This particular example is new in box (NIB), meaning it has never been fired outside of factory testing and remains in pristine, collector-grade condition. Originally manufactured by Group Industries before being acquired by Vector Arms, these  Uzis were built to the same high standards as the Israeli IMI originals, featuring a stamped steel receiver, a compact folding stock, and the iconic open-bolt operation. As a fully transferable machine gun under the National Firearms Act (NFA), this Uzi can be legally owned by civilians in compliant states, making it an exceptional addition for both collectors and shooters alike. With its NIB status, matching serial numbers, and original accessories, this is a rare opportunity to own a legendary submachine gun in factory-new condition.

Vector Arms acquired Group Industries’ Mini Uzi receivers after Group Industries went bankrupt in the early 1990s. Group Industries had originally manufactured a batch of Uzi-style receivers with the intent to produce both semi-automatic and fully automatic Uzi variants. However, due to financial difficulties, they were unable to complete all of their planned production.

When Group Industries filed for bankruptcy, Vector Arms purchased the remaining stock of unfinished Uzi receivers at auction. Vector then completed these receivers, assembling them into high-quality Vector Uzis, which included full-size, Mini, and Micro Uzi variants. The full-auto versions were completed as fully transferable machine guns, provided they were registered before the 1986 Firearm Owners Protection Act (FOPA) cutoff.

Because these receivers were originally produced by Group Industries but finished and assembled by Vector Arms, Vector Uzis are often considered among the best commercial Uzi clones, rivaling even Israeli Military Industries (IMI) Uzis in quality and performance.
