Rare Colt Offensive Handgun .45acp pistol with Knight's Armament OHG Suppressor and EXTRAS!

This Chester County Armory listing is for a rare Colt Offensive Handgun in .45acp with a Knight's Armament OHG suppressor created specifically for the OHG. This model and suppressor was Colt's official entry for the SOCOM's offensive handgun contract in the early 1990's that was eventually won by Heckler and Koch with the Mark 23. Featuring a fast attach KAC suppressor, this model also has Colt's slide lock feature, which allowed the gun to fire one round without cycling for maximum efficiency regarding the sound suppression. This model is serial number RB00034 of the small number produced, and is in great functional condition, with only exterior and cosmetic wear to the finish. It will also come with an almost complete spare parts kit, and a second compensator assembly form Colt that would need to be professionally fitted for use. This purchase will also include a one-of-a-kind, original, authentic, hand written notebook that was created by Colt's Senior Product Engineer for the Offensive Handgun Project, Bill Shine. This notebook contains Mr. Shine's detailed, hand written notes regarding the Offensive Handgun Project, chronologically noted as the project was underway. This notebook is 145 pages of notes, charts, and details regarding the progress of the project, directly from Mr. Shine, in his own hand The dates range from November of 1991 all the way through October of 1992.
