This Chester County Armory listing is for a rare, Colt Gun Room marked Colt M16A1 5.56mm transferable machine gun. This collectible M16A1 was utlized in-house by Colt for their own factory purposes, and was never originally offered for retail sale. It is stamped on the right side of the magazine well with a rare "Colt Gun Room" marking. It features an A1 20" upper with the original triangular handguards, and is SAFE, SEMI, and AUTO marked. This item is rare, must-have for the Colt collector. This machine gun is in excellent mechanical condition, and came to us through the John Keosayian collection. This is a fully transferable machine gun.
