Colt AR-15 9mm SMG 10.5″ Transferable Submachine Gun

This Chester County Armory listing is for a fully transferable Colt AR-15 9mm Carbine that has been converted to a Colt Model 635 9mm SMG by Hard Times Armory.

With original factory Colt 635 prices climbing into the mid to high $50K range, this model represents an amazing value investment in the NFA world for the collector who still desires to shoot his full-auto weapons. Regarded as one of the nicest Colt 9mm SMG conversions available, this model is in spectacular overall mechanical and cosmetic condition! Created by HT Armory using original Colt full-auto fire control parts and an original 10.5″ barreled upper, this transferable submachine gun appears to have seen very little handling or firing use. The exterior metalwork is in wonderful condition, with no dents, dings, gouges, malformations, etc. in the metalwork. The internals are in like-new condition, with only minor finish wear noted on the BCG and almost no markings on the fire control group, outside of some minor markings on the hammer face. This model is setup as a three position fire control group, and has been correctly position marked “SAFE”, “SEMI”, and “AUTO”. The bore remains bright and shiny, with clean, crisp rifling.

Cosmetically, the exterior of this weapon is also in fantastic condition. The finish is in beautiful condition, and there are very few handling marks that are even noticeable on this model. The original Colt furniture is also in amazing condition, with no causes for concern noted.  Overall, this transferable Colt 9mm SMG is one of the nicest conversion models we have ever had the pleasure of selling.  Purchase of this model will include an original Colt 32rd magazine and a Colt nylon sling, along with an original 1985 dated Colt 9mm SMG Operator’s Manual.

This model is currently on an eForm-capable Form 3 for easy transfer. The current NFA Form 3 paperwork lists the manufacturer of this model as “Colt” and the model as “9mcarbine.”
