The Diamondback DBX57 Series Semi Auto Pistol Utilizes the 5.27x28mm Cartridge

When FN developed the 5.7x28mm cartridge it was in response to NATO's request for a replacement to the 9x19mm Parabellum cartridge. Since 2006 the cartridge has been in service with military and police forces in over 40 countries throughout the world. In the USA 5.7x28 firearms are used by numerous law enforcement agencies including the US Secret Service. Fast forward to 2021 and Diamondback is excited to launch the new DBX57 semi automatic pistol.

The DBX57 functions on a simple design method based on a locked breech dual gas piston system. The frame is made from 7075 Aluminum with a hard coat anodized finish. It has a very AR-15 style feel with a pistol grip, controls, and fire control group. The M-LOK modular attachment interface hand guard allows for various accessories to be attached. Additionally it is worth noting that standard 20 round Fn Five-SeveN compatible pistol magazines are used to run this firearm. This particular version comes without a pistol stabilizing brace however with the rear picatinny rail on the receiver you can easily add one.
