The 686 Silver Pigeon I Sporting model is optimized for sportsmen who spend most of their time on the clay range. Built off the venerable Silver Pigeon I, the Sporting configuration comes with several unique features making it an ideal competition shooting shotgun. First and foremost, this firearm uses a manual safety that does not automatically click to safe every time the barrel is broken open; this avoids wasting valuable time to line up a shot. Sporting models also include a second mid-barrel bead and 8x8mm middle height rib for faster and more accurate alignment which is paramount in sporting clays. The stock dimensions are also slightly reconfigured with increased overall firearm weight for improved shouldering and swing for sporting clay activities. The Beretta Silver Pigeon I Sporting is an extremely durable and high performing clay shooting shotgun.
