This Gewehr K43 sometimes called Karabiner 43, or G43 for short is not in its original factory stock. It is in a modified Winchester stock. The bore has some pitting and rust but it is not compromised.
In 1943, German engineers decided to create a modernized version of the semi-automatic rifle Gewehr K41, called K43, which is produced to a fairly large number.
