Item Description
This Chester County Armory listing is for a Steyr AUG 5.56mm NATO fully transferable machine gun set up in an LMG HBAR configuration with extras.
This model was created using a Class 3/NFA registered, transferable hammer pack made by Qualified Manufacturing. It is installed in an original Steyr-Mannlicher marked AUG full auto stock sytem, and utilizes a Steyr Arms, Inc. AUG A3/M1 receiver as a Title One host rifle. This model features a rare, original Austrian-production, Gun South imported, Steyr 24.4" heavy barrel. This barrel comes with its original Steyr bipod and foregrip, and was made to transform the ubiquitious AUG assault rifle into a heavy barreled LMG (light machine gun) by Steyr.
This transferable machine gun is in excellent mechanical and functional condition. The Qualified Manufacturing created hammer pack is in superb condition both mechanically and cosmetically. The LMG HBAR barrel, foregrip, and bipod are in like new condition, with only some limited light handling marks noted in the exterior finish. The bore is bright, shiny, with crisp rifling. The A3/M1 host receiver is also in excellent condition both mechanically and cosmetically, with only some very minor handling marks in the metalwork.
The original mud colored Steyr AUG marked stock is in excellent functional condition, but it does show some siginificant cosmetic-only handling marks, and slight color variations from use (see photos). The full auto bolt group notes some cosmetic wear in the finish, but is fully functional with no operational concerns, whatsoever.
This transferable machine gun will also come with the Steyr Arms, Inc. AUG A3/M1 16.0" carbine barrel and foregrip in OD green to match the OD green charging handle on the rifle receiver. This packaged machine gun comes with a total of five magazines (one 30rd original Steyr-Austria magazine, two 42rd original Steyr-Austria magazines, and two 30rd Magpul magazines for the AUG.
