Rare Factory Original Heckler & Koch G3 7.62x51mm NATO Transferable Machine Gun

This Chester County Armory listing is for a very rare, all-original, factory made Heckler & Koch G3 7.62x51mm NATO transferable machine gun. This model is 100% German H&K factory made, and is not a semi-automatic conversion. One of only a handful, true factory made H&K select fire machine guns that are civilian transferable in the US, this model was originally imported by Harrington & Richardson. Inc. as a factory sample for their own internal use. It was subsequently sold off at the H&R bankruptcy auction in the 1980's. (We will provide the buyer with a copy of the original documentation showing the sale from H&R upon purchase). This rare, transferable machine gun is in excellent condition, both mechanically and cosmetically. It appears to have been fired very little, and shows limited wear on the internals. The exterior finish is in overall excellent condition, with only minor handling marks noted in the parkerization. The original, OD Green furniture is also in excellent condition. This rare factory machine gun also notes a very rare, original H&K manufactured trigger housing, that was engraved by HK with the safe, semi-auto, and full-auto markings in English at H&R's request (rather than the commonly seen German markings of S, E, and F). Very few examples of this have ever been noted in the US. This rare, factory produced H&K G3 is a fully transferable, registered receiver machine gun.
