The Powder Springs M10 9mm, often referred to as the MAC-10, is a submachine gun with a storied history. Manufactured by Military Armament Corporation in Powder Springs, Georgia, this particular M10 9mm, bearing the serial number 36, represents one of the earlier models produced during the 1970s. Renowned for its compact size, high rate of fire, and rugged design, the MAC-10 became a notable firearm in both military and law enforcement circles, as well as in popular culture. The low serial number, 36, indicates it is an early production model, which may add to its historical value and collectability. The M10's straightforward blowback operation, paired with its ability to be fitted with a suppressor, made it a versatile weapon in various tactical situations. Today, it remains a significant piece of firearm history, particularly for collectors and enthusiasts who appreciate its engineering and the era it represents.
