The Bridgeport M1 Thompson, also known as the "Tommy Gun," is a historic submachine gun that gained fame during the Prohibition era and World War II. Manufactured by the Auto-Ordnance Company in Bridgeport, Connecticut, this .45 ACP weapon is known for its high rate of fire, durability, and distinctive design, including a vertical foregrip and a large drum magazine. Renowned for its use by both law enforcement and criminal organizations in the 1920s and 1930s, the M1 Thompson later became a staple in the hands of Allied forces during World War II, solidifying its place as an iconic firearm in military history.

This M1 Thompson does not have a matching upper and lower, as was very common during returned war-era Thompsons.
