NFA paperwork says manufacturer is German. Receiver is marked 1943 MG42 serial # with stamped letters CRA which we understand means the firearm was manufacturer by MAGET (Maschinenbau und Gerätebau GmbH, Berlin-Tegel). Barrel shroud on right front and top has been repaired by the signs of some welding but the repair is well done. The top cover has a beefed up front hinge that is a nice feature.
