The MP40 submachine gun, or the 'Maschinenpistole 40', was the signature SMG of the German Wehrmacht during WW2. The groundbreaking weapon was designed for both tactical superiority and ease of mass-production, a manufacturing philosophy other militaries quickly adopted.
If only this gun could tell it's story! These MP40's have 11-12 different Serialized parts on the gun: everthing from the Receiver all the way down to the firing pin. With use, the Germans would switch out parts on these MP40's in order to keep these guns running effectively, as is the case with this gun. This MP40 is a NON Matching serialized gun.
