Item Description

Arisaka Type 30

* 6.5x50 Arisaka

* Mum on the receiver

* Crack in Stock

* 19" Barrel

* 5 round internal Mag

The Type 30 is a box-fed bolt action repeating rifle that was the standard Infantry rifle of the Imperial Japnese Army from 1897 to 1905. 1987 was the 30th year of the Meiji period, which was why it was called the Type 30. The Carbine model was shorter and intended for cavalry troops. There were only about 45,000 carbines made.

The barrel finish is a little rough and with some pitting. The Bore is dark. Crack in the stock in two places. Overall the pictures represent the gun well.
