This S&W 29-4 is in Like new condition around 99%. Comes with the original box. It has a 3 inch barrel and chambred in 44 Magnum. This is an iconic model that was made famous worldwide by association with the fictional character "Dirty Harry" Callahan. Great piece to add to your collection.
At the time of its introduction the Model 29 was the most powerful production handgun, although it was later overtaken by handguns chambered for the even larger .454 Casull and .50 Action Express cartridges. The 29-4 modifications were introduced in 1988 and include the retention system on the yoke or cylinder crane strengthened, studs in frame were radiused; 8 3/8" version offered with integral scope mts.
