NATIONAL MATCH
This is a rather rare M14. It is a Springfield M1A Select fire from company. Gun was made in 1985 and sent to Glen Nelson for National Match. Then sold as transferable select fire in 1986 just prior to the ban.
It is understood that Springfield manufactured 415 Select Fire M1A's between 1984 and 1987, however none could be sold to public after April 1986. The understanding is, there were approximately 125 transferable Select Fire M1A's produced prior to the ban, and out of that 6 were sent to Glen Nelson for National Match, This being one of them
