This S&W Victory Model has a bulged barrel, the cylinder rotates properly and everything is mechanically sound. This pistol should not be fired.
The Smith & Wesson Military & Police revolver was issued throughout WWII and into Korea. It was called the "Victory Model" during WWII and affixed with a "V" prefix to the serial number.
