Enjoyable to shoot, easy to clean
America’s Heavy Machine Gun in World War I
1914 Hotchkiss machine gun and its strong Omnibus mount, used by French soldiers and American doughboys in WWI. Except for the front sight, this Hotchkiss has all matching serial numbers, so it was not assembled from parts of several Hotchkiss guns, now so common. Fires 8mm Label ammunition, available and reloadable. This Hotchkiss is a delight to shoot and functioned flawlessly when test-fired in early November. See video attached, or email for video of this Hotchkiss in operation. It is surprisingly easy to shoot, and easy to disassemble and reassemble, once you become familiar with it, because it has only half the parts of its adversary in THE GREAT WAR: the German’s 1908 Maxim machinegun. Comes with 12 steel feed strips. C&R and Fully Transferable. $25,000
A rare option is available: all original Hotchkiss parts to convert this gun to shoot 7mm Mauser ammunition. Includes original Hotchkiss 7mm barrel, complete bolt, gas piston assembly, receiver top plate/handle with mainspring and mainspring guide, and complete, original 7mm brass feed block, plus 12 feedstrips. $5,000 for the optional conversion set, which may have to be fit to the gun by a gunsmith. This caliber conversion is not necessary to have a good time shooting this Hotchkiss using 8mm Lebel ammunition. Call or email on questions. 877-437-0251 or [email protected]
