45acp MAC OPERATORS BRIEF CASE SYSTEMNov. 3, 2020, 3 p.m. - Unknown Section -
YES! - 45 ACP, not a 380
One of the foremost rarities in the world of collecting Military Armament Corporation weapons – the MAC-10 Operational Briefcase system. This system’s MAC-10 submachinegun is chambered for the hardest-hitting cartridge used in the Operator’s Briefcase System: the 45 acp, and was made by Military Armament Corporation at its Powder Springs, Georgia manufacturing plant in 1973. The short suppressor was made by RPB Industries for the 45 acp Operational Briefcase system. This is not a common MAC-10 suppressor. It was purpose-designed for this briefcase application. This complete system comes with three original COBRAY marked short magazines. The black leather briefcase also carries two 30 round magazines. They are COBRAY marked as well. Of interest is the barrel port cover – concealed beneath a business card which inserts into its card holder on the side of the briefcase – a normal detail to see with a business brief case. The triggering device is at the bottom of the case, as shown in the photograph. Also included is a copy of the January, 2003 edition of Small Arms Review magazine, which features a thorough article on operational briefcases that details original MAC Operational Briefcases. This 45 acp version of the Operators Briefcase system is an extremely hard item to locate when assembling a grouping of MAC weapons. $16,000 Visa or MasterCard OK. Submachine gun and suppressor transfer to your dealer tax-free. Trades for older machineguns, DEWATS and non-functioning registered machineguns will be considered. Thank you. 575-405-0911.
