Manufactured in 1984 and imported via HK Inc of Chantilly, Virginia, the G3SG/1 is a production variant of the German G3 battle rifle intended for issue to sharpshooters. The SG1 variant includes a specialized cheekpiece, buffer assembly, and a special double set trigger assembly. Automatic fire capability is retained, allowing the sharpshooter to perform ranged suppression fire and also to fight and maneuver as a more conventional infantryman if needed.
According to the ATF paperwork Heckler & Koch is the maker of this Machine Gun. It is our goal that you are 100 percent satisfied with our products and transaction.
