1969 Kaiser Jeep M715May 14, 2020, 11:50 a.m. - Military Vehicles -
The Kaiser Jeep M715 is an American military pickup inspired by the civilian Jeep Gladiator. The Kaiser Jeep M715 is often called a 1 1/4 ton, or five quarter ton truck due to its large size and load capacity, which proved beneficial to soldiers during battle. The M715 was used in Vietnam, the Korean DMZ, and European bases. In 1965 the development of the M715 began after the U.S government decided it wanted a replacement for the Dodge M37. Between 1967 and 1969 over 33,000 trucks were produced at the Toledo plant in Ohio. I have owned this M715 for 8 years I purchased from previous owner in California Desert. It has original paint and configuration never restored very rare to find vehicles like this in original very good condition. I had heads rebuilt along with all brakes repaired shortly after I brought it. I also replaced gas tank with a USGI tank and put night driver tactical light. I have not connected the light with cable yet but easy fix. This vehicle runs strong and will go most anywhere. It is geared low for off road use as expected with strong 4WD. Very Nice Jeep M715 with original paint and configuration. Hard to find one like this for price and condition. Still in 24V configuration. Buyer is responsible for shipping
