This is an imported NFA sales sample. AKA Pre-86 dealer sample machine gun. It can only be transferred to an Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) with a valid Special Occupation Taxpayer (SOT). The National Firearms Act Special Occupational Taxpayer class is part of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 which permits certain types of FFL's to transfer machineguns, silencers, short barreled rifles/shotguns etc. You must posses both a valid FFL & SOT to purchase this machinegun.
No demo letter needed. Pre-May Samples are also commonly referred to as a KEEPER, as they may maintain possession once the SOT holder decides to relinquish their license.
DESCRIPTION & ITEM DETAILS:
Up for sale is a very scarce and original factory-built H&K machinegun. It is a PRE-86 DEALER SAMPLE Heckler & Koch (H&K), Germany, G3 SG1 chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO / .308 Win.
Registered in the NFA’s NFRTR as a factory HK Imported Sales Sample G3 SG1. A copy of the Form3 is viewable in the photos.
It is equipped from the factory with the correct SG1 set trigger pack in "SEF" type configured as "safe, semi, full-auto”, SG1 stock with adjustable height cheek rest and heavy buffer system, bipod, HK SG1 wood storage/carrying case. Also included inside the military style olive drab green storage case is a factory cleaning kit, bore cleaning tube and leather sling.
We had this gun refinished by RDTS - an HK factory authorized refinisher – known for their “Tri-Coat HK Black” finish. The metal surfaces of the gun look incredible in deep black. RDTS does a complete teardown and reassembly of the rifle – one of the most stringent and complete recoating processes in the industry.
ONE (1) 5rd pre-ban HK G3 / HK91 SG1 steel magazine and ONE (1) 20-round pre-ban G3 / HK91 7.62mm aluminum magazine is included with this machine gun.
This machine gun will come as-pictured and AS-IS. While it is in excellent condition, it is still a used firearm and will show some minor signs of wear from storage, handling and use. There are several detailed photos attached to this ad for your viewing. I have personally test-fired this machine gun and it runs perfectly in both semi and full-auto modes.
This machine gun is on a FORM 3 in our inventory and ready for immediate and tax free eForm 3 transfer to any SOT.
