Transferable on a Form 3
Item Description
This Chester County Armory listing is for a fantastic condition, and increasingly rare, Heckler & Koch Model HK53 5.56mm NATO transferable NFA registered receiver machine gun.
Originally designed as the compact version of a Heckler & Koch HK33 or HK33K, this beautiful condition transferable machine gun is a registered receiver model built and original NFA registered by Fleming Firearms through the full-auto conversion of a German factory HK 93 semi-automatic rifle. This weapon was then fully updated, inspected, and tested to modern specifications by famed H&K gunsmith specialist Terry Dyer. This model features a correct HK53 8.3″ length barrel that has been fitted with a Surefire Warcomp 5.56 three prong flash hider (to allow for fast and easy suppressor attachment), an H&K A3 convex telescoping stock, and has been correctly restamped to read “HK 53″ as the model. A model-correct paddle magazine release has also been installed.
This spectacular model has also been upgraded to feature a modern Navy-style SEF trigger group and housing. Even though this is a registered receiver converted model, because of the way Bill Fleming performed his full-auto conversion, this model is legally capable of future upgrades by a gunsmith and the end-user to a three or four-position ambidextrous setup, if so desired.
This transferable machine gun setup is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. This model runs just like you would expect a Heckler & Koch model to run….absolutely flawlessly. The bolt carrier group and internals note very little wear, outside of a few marks on the bolt head. The bore is bright and shiny, with crisp, clean rifling. The full-auto trigger group is in excellent condition, with only minor finish wear noted.
Cosmetically, the exterior finish is in overall fantastic condition, with only very minor handling marks noted in the matte black finish (most notably on the scope mount area of the upper receiver). The metalwork notes no dings, dents, scratches, gouges, malformations, etc. and only the smallest amount of finish wear in the exterior matte black finish. The polymer furniture is also in excellent condition, with no noted marks or wear.
This spectacular machine gun setup is fully transferable and is currently on an eForm-capable Form 3 for easy transfer. The current Form 3 lists “Heckler & Koch” as the manufacturer of this machine gun sear and “53” as the model.
