This is a desirable Italian Beretta Model 38/42 fully automatic submachine gun chambered in 9 mm Luger cartridge. This is an upgraded model of the 38 with Sheet Metal, shorter barrel and Stock, and a fluted barrel to aid cooling. This functions as a basic blow-back operated machine gun that used a stick magazine which was very similar overall to the WWII German MP40 and British STEN submachine guns. It has a double trigger mechanism, which the front trigger is used to function in a single shot mode with the rear trigger firing in a fully automatic mode. It comes complete with two 30 round stick magazines. This gun also has a 38/44 bolt assemble and Recoil spring.
